SUDANESE-AUSTRALIAN LOST BOYS AND GIRLS OF SOUTH SUDAN INC

Sudanese-Australian Lost Boys and Girls of South Sudan Inc (SALBAGOSS INC) is a not-for-profit charity organization and public benevolence institution with the purpose of providing benevolence relief to people in need. Every person whose life is improved or saved stems from an act of generosity that’s purely voluntary. We were 26,000 young and vulnerable children. That’s why we donate times and resources to help vulnerable people. You can also do your part by getting involved.

More About Us

OUR PROGRAMS

SALBAGOSS Inc has been established as a charity to advance education, culture, and social welfare and relieve poverty by providing free homework support, teaching first language, and relief poverty.

ABOUT US

We were 26,000 unaccompanied minors who trekked thousands of kilometers to the Pignudo refugee camp in Ethiopia between 1987 and 1989. They were called ‘the lost boys of Sudan’ after Peter Pan’s band of orphans.

OUR LATEST ACTIVITY

Margaret Hope House

Margaret’s House of Hope is named after Late Margaret Wakefield from Adelaide, South Australia. Margaret cared for children all her life as a primary school teacher for more than 30 years. She loved to travel, learn about other cultures and meet people and supported Project Hope South Sudan for 10 years, before her passing in 2021. Her daughter Ally wanted to leave a legacy to her Mum by building this House of Hope for girls in Aweil, South Sudan.
